Born in Tucumán, Argentina
Currently lives and works in Miami, FL

Maximiliano Ferro is a Visiting Professor of Animation at Florida International University teaching 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Storytelling & Character Development and Intermediate / Advanced Animation. He also teaches Figure Drawing at Miami Dade College. Previously, he taught at Hamilton College, Colgate University, PrattMWP and Rutgers University. He has given lectures and been a guest critic at The Cooper Union, Columbus College of Art & Design, Wesleyan College, The University of New Mexico and Flagler College.

Ferro received his BFA from The Cooper Union and MFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. His work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in New York City, Buenos Aires and beyond. He participated in the Untitled Art Fair in Miami Beach and arteBA art fair in Argentina. He has performed at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Judson Church in Lower Manhattan and various other venues.

He currently resides in Miami with his wife and identical twin daughters.
